Admissions Open for 2026 February Intake (Masters)
Kathmandu University School of Arts announces the opening of admissions for the following programs for the 2026 February intake:
MASTER’S PROGRAMS
Eligibility for Master Programs:
Nepali or Non-Nepali national with completion of 4 year Bachelor’s degree or a Master’s degree with a cumulative grade point average (CGPA) of 2 out of 4 or an equivalent of 45 percent marks in the latest degree acquired in a recognized institute. Selected applicants have to pass an entrance test and interview.A strong quantitative background will be given priority in the selection process.
Scholarships: several scholarships are available in bachelor programs such as merit-based scholarships for semester toppers, need-based scholarships for students from low-income families, and one Lalitpur Metropolitan Quota Scholarship in each program.
Bachelor-level programs offer scholarships to 10 percent of admitted students under the UGC Formula Funding Scheme.
Master-level programs offer scholarships to 20 percent of admitted students under the UGC Formula Funding Scheme.
Note: Scholarships are not applicable for the affiliated or extended programs.
Reserved seats: 10 percent of the total approved seats are for foreign students. Similarly, another 10 percent of the seats are for students under the inclusion category.
Note: students waiting for the results of their final year or semester examination of their qualifying degree can apply for provisional admission.
