Bachelor in Yogic Science and Well-being
An entirely unique and newly launched undergraduate program at Kathmandu University School of Arts, Bachelor in Yogic Sciences and Wellbeing attracts students who want to attain sound physical and mental health of the self while also taking the knowledge and skills to a professional level. This program is jointly owned by School of Arts and School of Medical Sciences at the university.

Evaluation Methods
The performance of students in a course is evaluated in two components;
- In-semester: 50 % of the weightage is evaluated internally by the faculty member
- End-semester: 50% of the weightage is evaluated externally by the Office of the Controller of Examination through end-semester exams.
Course Completion and Graduation
In order to successfully complete a course:
- Students are required to obtain a minimum of 40% marks in both of the components independently
- Students will have to achieve a minimum of 80% attendance
- Students who do not achieve this will be considered “Not qualified” and will not be allowed to appear in the external end-semester examinations.
- Any student who fails to secure 50% of the total credits offered in a semester will have to drop out from the semester.
Cohort Size
Maximum students enrolled for an intake: 24
Methodology
The major activities considered for in-semester evaluation includes class tests, reflection, midterm, assignments, journal/portfolio, class performance, presentation and attendance.
Eligibility for Admission
This program addresses the need of fundamental understanding by the students irrespective of their education background hence, the applicants from any education background with a minimum 2 CGPA in their high school (10+2 equivalent) can apply for this Bachelor’s degree program.
